  3. LETTER MATCH is an easy to play and very challenging word game, designed
  4. to test your memory, category knowledge and spelling.
  5.  
  6. The object of the game is to match as many words as possible, each time 
  7. trying to beat the score you have posted in the high score file, as well
  8. other players scores.
  9.  
  10. The Sysop determines the category subject and the program will display it
  11. at the top of the box that contains the current word you are working with.
  12.  
  13. You must think of a word, in line with the current category, whose first 
  14. letter matches the last letter of the word in the box OR whose last letter
  15. matches the first letter of the word in the box.
  16.  
  17. For Example: Given the category "STATES and CAPITALS" and an initial word 
  18.              of "OREGON", you could use "OHIO" to match the first letter 
  19.              in "OREGON" or you could use "NEW YORK" to match the last 
  20.              letter in "OREGON".

  24. The word you choose then replaces the word in the box. At this point you 
  25. will chooses another word OR the computer will play a word. Your Sysop 
  26. controls whether or not the computer will be playing.

  28. The program automatically detects if there are any remaining matches that 
  29. can be made. If none remain the game will end. You can quit at any time 
  30. and your accumulated score, up to that time, will be saved IF it is greater
  31. than the score you may already have in the high score file.
